@Kat: There was shooting in the distance when we arrived - however, we were told it was 'training' :-) Yes, it was a bright and chilly winter day with great clarity! It was a weird day, early in the morning we were sitting in the Police Commandants office - all the windows had been blown out, glass on the floor, shooting in the distance and we were sitting calmly sipping hot tea talking about the weather and such things :-)
