@Observing: You quite often see cars with European plates even the odd GB sticker - I even discovered an old Velocette on display in a bar (next to a selection of weapons for sale) - it can be all very odd sometimes :-). Yes, its been quite chilly here - I was camping in Glencoe last weekend - pictures on my Scottish blog....!

yes, weird ... guess you felt about the same like I did when I found this one in Maiduguri: [links don't work for me, so here's the address: http://www.flickr.com/photos/32909549@N08/3253351872/in/set-72157610732436219/] Difference is, this one was clearly painted on the locally built cage but for whatever reason they decided to copy from a German truck originally belonging to this brand of mineral water!
