Yes, really impressive. You are opening a window to a completely unknow facet of Afganistan to those of us who just knew this country from the TV or our book readings. Thank you.
The photo is really amazing, it's a work of art...the place is unbelievable and the car, the car is so incongruous ---fantastic image....

@Lorraine: This is Toyota Corolla city - they are the ubiquitous saloon car of the city. There are a handful of old Russian cars e.g. Lada, Zil, a handful of Mercedes and a very light sprinking of other makes!
Fantastic photograph. It shows the human side of Afghanistan that we rarely get to see. The contrast of the modern vehicle in the midst of so much poverty is so telling of the times we live in. Congratulations! After seeing so many of your pictures I often wonder - How safe is that?

@Emilio Garcia: Many thanks for your comments! You pose an interesting question - I've never felt in anyway threatened when walking around Kabul. Others lock themselves up in armour plated x4 wheel drives complete with armed guards. How safe is that? - I'm not sure there is an answer :-)
Truly a remarkable image and fascinating to see... thanks. I find it amazing that you could have walked there without hinder..?
Top right, silver spheres ?

@Observing: Yes, most of the time, no problem walking around - sometimes we would walk through the winding streets and alleys over the hill in the background to the other side of Kabul. Top right - in the sky... very indistinct, but zooming into the original full res image they are birds. Many thanks for your comments!
