Potholes

Kabul is blessed with a lot of sunshine - ocassionally it rains and cars have to go into semi-submersible mode

@DarkElf: The pothole in the foreground almost swallowed the bus which you can see escaping in the distance :-)

What a life! I think some people enjoy it too.
At least you don't have to think that "I just washed my car 10 minutes ago...." It doesn't matter when car was washed, because every car looks the same. FUN!

@Sergei Z: Many thanks for your comment! 'because every car looks the same' funnily enough, almost all the saloon cars on the road ARE the same - Toyota Corollas!

wonderful capture of the rough terrain there, brings back memories of driving over similar terrain, was a challenge but fun, almost more fun that driving on a big highway

what is it about the structures on both sides? seems to me like historical heritage..

@Kheoh Yee Wei: Many tanks for your comment. The structures are brick kilns. They are not working as it is winter - there is no building work at this time of year!
