Guarding the storm

@Namaki: They are just the normal compounds behind which are homes or businesses. They were guarding us while we looked at the loess.

@Pavla: Sometimes we wonder.... are they safeguarding us from the local baddies.... or safeguarding the locals from us :-). In this picture the police had spread out on foot to the surrounding high ground while we worked below. many thanks for your comments they are appreciated!
