Are there many of those Yorkshire cannon about? You had a shot of onebefore.

@Michael Rawluk: Hi Michael, many thanks for your comment! There are two cannons at this fort. They were used as a 'noon gun' but are not fired any more. They are stamped Low Moor, which is a famous historical artillery works in Yorkshire though some authors reckon they were made locally. I know of one other smaller British cannon still on its carriage in Kabul and a few others - locally made, Russian etc. There are a pair of naval guns outside a barracks - where they come from is a mystery!
@Ana Lúcia: At least this is a relatively safe area in which to play - just a few hundred metres away (just like the hill in the picture) the hillsides have unexploded shells and landmines.
