@MaryB: Hi Mary, thanks for the comment! The fort is disused though guarded by the army. I was doing a 'fort' walk on a day off!

@Tamara: Hi Tamara, many thanks for your comment! Four million people live in Kabul - buildings like these stretch as far as you can see - I'll try and find a panorama and post....
