Beautifully composed shot, I like the earthy tones and textures. It must be so difficult to live in these conditions. Is that an open sewer in front of the building?

@Jenny: Yes, I'm afraid so. You can see the pipe from the house, the sewage flows into the larger open sewer in the foreground. Many parts of Kabul are like this.
