The village seems somewhat strange but the houses surely are well adapted to their environment. On a day without wind, and dust, the air looks so transparent.

@António Pires: Its probably in the region of 2000 m and it was a day of great clarity - totally amazing after the dust and pollution of Kabul. Despite the sun it was quite chilly.
