Beautiful landscape with lovely muted colours. What are the chimneys in the middle distance on the left of the image, are they part of the brick kilns?

@Jenny: This is the Shomali Plain, it is composed of loess, an accumulation of windblown silt. Yes, they are brick kilns. With two chimneys they will be Hoffman kilns - they dig the loess as raw material for the brick making.
@Namaki: Hmmm... sometimes we stopped, sometimes shot from the vehicle - not sure about this one! I would have happily stayed till sunset - but others like to get back before dark cos of the bandits :-)
this is a great panorama! i like the layers of ground, hills and the sky... and i absolutely love the mist hills in the background... there is something about them that makes me want to go and find out what's hiding behind the mist... great work!
