Excellent portrait...there is something different about his expression, not as free as a child and not as steady and direct as an older adult, but something hesitant...I'm not sure, but it's really interesting

@Marie-Hélène Ammor: Close! He is standing in front of his friends shoe making/repairing stall. What is interesting is he spoke perfect English, he had lived in the UK including in Glasgow an hour from where I live for eight years!
Great portrait. I think maybe he is a bit nervous, but obliging anyway..?
