He's so beautiful, so peaceful, and yesterday's photo of the man holding the bird (that you so kindly pointed out) shows me that all is not as reported, there's so much 'goodness' in your photos, it's comforting. We tend to think of political climate as the way it is, but the people they change all that. Your photos give me hope and that's a very good thing...

@Lorraine: The vast majority of folk just want to live in peace - just like anywhere else.
I wish I knew how you did it. How you get people to pose in that open friendly way.

@Michael Rawluk: Many thanks for your comment! Most Afghans I've met are friendly, there is probably a bit of inquisitiveness as well as many don't have much contact with westeners. Many like to practice their English, so they will tag along chatting away.
