You have some wonderful photographs here on this site, Afghanistan looks a beautiful place full of amazing photographic vistas and people. I think you are capturing the diversity and character very well. (It looks VERY different to Middlesbrough and the North East!!).

@Rhys: Hi Rhys, many thanks for your comments they are greatly appreciated. The exotic always is going to look more exciting, however, having a local patch like I do at home in Scotland and you do in Middlesborough enable us to get good images with very little effort as you know exactly where to go when the weather/light is right even if it is only a few minutes round the corner! When I was brought up in Stockton - I always thought Middlesborough, Redcar, Salburn and Hartlepool to the north were exotic! I need to revisit with a camera! Bob
