His job was to barrow coal from the storage area to the kiln where it was dropped in to feed the fire.

@badala: Hi Badala, many thanks for your message, being new to Aminus3, I wasn't quite sure what the spotlight page was... but I soon found it! I must say I'm greatly appreciative of the kind soul that selected one on my images for the spotlight. The real stars are of course the many friendly Afghans who you see in the pictures, most love having their picture taken, though they often like to pull a serious face for the camera!

one of the strongest portrait i ever seen - i liked the way inlined with the small but deep eyes of the young man....the of color speaks for itself
